The basics

A battery telemetry solution sends live data from deployed battery packs back to the manufacturer. For an Indian OEM, that means you can see how packs are actually behaving in the field instead of relying on what a customer reports after something has gone wrong. It supports warranty decisions, degradation tracking and design feedback from real usage.

Ajjas reads data from the pack's battery management system, covering state of charge, state of health, temperature, fault conditions and charge cycles. The exact parameter set depends on your BMS and what it exposes, so the field list is confirmed during technical scoping rather than assumed.

It is a single 0–100 rating of a pack's condition, where 100 is like-new. Five signals feed it — capacity, cycle usage, voltage stability, temperature and measurement accuracy — all read from the battery during everyday use rather than from a bench test. The result is one number your team can sort a large deployment by.

Data ownership & access

The OEM does. Telemetry from your packs belongs to you, and Ajjas does not monetise or resell customer data — it operates the platform that collects, stores and presents it. Export rights, retention periods and handling terms are set out in the commercial agreement rather than left to assumption.

Yes. There are two levels of access: a control panel where your team sees every deployed pack, and a customer-facing panel scoped only to the units that customer owns. This lets you offer visibility as part of the product without exposing fleet-wide data to any single buyer.

Warranty, setup & lifecycle

It replaces argument with record. When a customer claims a pack failed prematurely, you have the pack's own history — how it was charged, what temperatures it sat at, how many cycles it went through, whether fault conditions were logged. Claims that fall outside warranty terms become defensible, and genuine failures get resolved faster.

Three things: fitting the device to the pack, establishing the read from your BMS, and configuring what your team wants to see. Most OEMs start with a limited batch to validate the data against known packs before rolling out across production. The engineering effort on your side is usually confined to the BMS interface.

Yes. Because telemetry continues through the pack's working life, you have a real usage and degradation history at the point of retirement rather than an estimate based on age. That history is what lets a pack be graded for second-life use, priced on evidence, or sent for recycling because of how it has actually performed.
